Environmental risks for the NSR

What are the short term and long terms enviornmental risks we face as a region?  This page includes documents that identify risks and threats related to current and future use of the region.  Mitigation measures that may be placed in the regional planning context are also presented.

Often risks relate to the cumulative environmental effects of a region but may also involve the identification of acute risks that may irreparably alter or harm our environment.  Risk identification is an ongoing process and requires ongoing monitoring and assesment.
